Microsoft Surface
Holy hell! Minority Report was supposed to be in the future, but this stuff is already functional!
Microsoft already launched first line of Surface platforms, but that doesn´t stop them from already allowing a peek at what a possible second generation Surface computing platform might offer.
Just have a look at this movie on YouTube, it shows some of the major new functions of a project called “Second Light”, which mainly refers to the ability to project a secondary image on any translucent or transparent surface such as a piece of paper or plastic. This will allow some kind of fourth dimensional layer to provide additional information. God this is awesome, I need one of these!
Mind you: this is not an official video showing what the next Surface generation will be about, it’s just showing off what the current generation can already do with some hardware tweaking. (source: Techradar.com)

You might think this is amazing now, but wait till the next generation of better technology comes out. Next thing you know, you will say this surface computing platform is so outdated. Very interesting find though Smith!
have a read at my other post about Raymond Kurzweil. This guy has some interesting theories on how this technology continouesly keeps speeding up and that one day, man cannot keep up. Result: self-aware AI takes over.
